Gavin Daniell is a Cape Town based photographer with a natural talent and passion for photography. After many years in the fashion industry he has found a flair for the other side of the camera, and has recently published his first coffee table book: www.lamppostnews.co.za. He has two awesome boys and his best moments are spent on the beach with his family and dogs.

Being a Dad, catching those “in-the-moment “ shots of kids has become second nature to him and he has had the privilege to learn to capture those special moments through his family. He specializes in creative and imaginative portraiture of children and families. He works on-location in natural light or with a portable studio in your choice of environment. He has a relaxed and low key approach that focuses on capturing your child’s genuine expressions and natural beauty.

Although his main focus is on children and family photography, his expertise extend to other disciplines such as model tests, product and food shoots and corporate and event photography.
